Google decides to delete accounts that have been inactive for at least two years
The American company “Google” decided to delete personal accounts that have not been logged in for two years or more, while erasing all information and files associated with them stored on the company’s servers.
The company stated in a statement on its official website that it will erase Gmail mail and messages stored on it, as well as photos uploaded to the photo service, and files on the cloud storage service, as well as delete backups.
She added that the process of deleting inactive accounts will take place starting from the end of this year, and the accounts that were created and not used will be the first to be deleted, in a phased manner that starts with free personal accounts and reaches commercial accounts.
