The Barcelona team was crowned the Spanish League champion for the 27th time in its history, by defeating Espanyol in the match that brought them together today, with a score (4-2) in the 34th round of the competition.
Four rounds before the end of the competition, Barcelona’s balance became 85 points from 34 matches, 14 points ahead of second-placed Real Madrid, which is an irreplaceable difference.
Barcelona was clearly the best party against its humble neighbor, who is in the penultimate position, and opened the scoring by Lewandowski.
Alejandro Balde, who set up the first goal for his colleague Lewandowski, added the second goal after Pedri’s pass in the 20th minute.
Lewandowski increased Barcelona’s lead five minutes before the break, after a perfect pass from Rafinha.
Defender Jules Conde scored Barcelona’s fourth goal in the 53rd minute, but Javi Boadu pulled one back for Espanyol in the 73rd minute, then his colleague Joselo added the second goal in the final moments of stoppage time.
