Feyenoord crowned the Eredivisie title
Feyenoord won the Dutch Premier League title for the first time since 2017, after beating Go Ahead Eagles 3-0 on Sunday.
Feyenoord raised its tally to 79 points, 11 points ahead of second-placed Eindhoven, which hosts Fortuna Sittard later in the day, two rounds before the end.
Feyenoord won the title for the 16th time in its history, but it ranks third behind Ajax Amsterdam (36) and Eindhoven (24).
The hosts advanced with two goals within three minutes, as Osama Idrissi opened the scoring in the 15th minute, then Santiago Jimenez added the second goal, and Igor Baixao strengthened Feyenoord’s superiority after nine minutes of the break.
