A negative tie between Bologna and Roma in the Italian League
Roma, with a squad that included many substitutes, tied without goals with Bologna, in light of coach Jose Mourinho’s team preparing for the semi-finals of the European League, to remain without a victory for the fifth consecutive match in the Italian Premier League, today, Sunday.
Mourinho chose to rest some of his key players before facing Bayer Leverkusen next Thursday, where Roma won the first leg with a goal, and Paulo Dybala and goalkeeper Rui Patricio were not included in the match squad.
Roma left possession of the ball to its rival, Bologna, by about 70 percent, and the landowner moved forward at times, while Rome relied on trying to launch counter-attacks.
Roma remained in sixth place with 59 points, one point ahead of seventh-ranked Atlanta, and two points behind fifth-placed Milan, three rounds before the end of the season.
