Today, Saturday, the first round of the group stage of the 2023 Arab Beach Soccer Championship, organized by the Arab Football Association and hosted by the Saudi Federation, was completed on the banks of the Red Sea in Jeddah, from 11 to 20 May.
In the second group, Oman won 7-1 against Palestine, while Egypt won 6-2 at the expense of Kyrgyzstan.
The goals of the Oman national team were scored by Sami Al-Balooshi (2 goals), Khaled Al-Araimi (3 goals), Ahmed Al-Owaisi and Al-Yaqzan Al-Hendasi, while the Palestinian national team’s goal came through the player Muhammad Hassan.
In the second match, the goals of the Egyptian national team were scored by Abdel-Rahman Al-Shafei “two goals”, Mustafa Ali “two goals”, Hussam Hussein and Al-Husseini Ali, while the goals of the Kyrgyz national team came through Al-Mazbek Samat and Khaled Bey.
In Group C, the UAE national team defeated Libya 5-2, while the Comoros national team defeated Kuwait 4-2 on penalties, after a 1-1 draw.
The goals of the UAE national team were scored by Rashid Yaqoub, Ahmed Bishr, Walid Bishr, Haitham Al Kaabi and Ali Mohammadi, while the Libyan national team’s double came through Ahmed Mohamed and Islam Al Obeidi.
In the second match, the Comoros national team defeated the Kuwait national team, 4-2, on penalties, after a positive tie 1-1.
Tomorrow, Sunday, two matches will be held in the first group competitions, where the Mauritanian national team will meet with the Moroccan national team, and the Lebanese national team with the Saudi national team.
