Officially… Southampton is relegated from the English Premier League

Southampton was relegated from the Premier League by losing 2-0 to Fulham on Saturday.

Southampton’s presence in the top flight ended for 11 years, after the bottom club’s balance was frozen at 24 points from 36 games.

Southampton can no longer catch up with 17th-placed Everton, who has 32 points from 35 games.
