Negative numbers for “Sierra” after losing the Cup final

Al-Wahda coach, Chilean Luis Sierra, scored a negative number in his career after his team lost to Al-Hilal in the King’s Cup final by penalty kicks after the end of the original and extra time in a draw (1-1) at King Abdullah City Stadium in Jeddah.

Sierra became the most coach to lose that championship after losing the title in the 2018-2019 season with Al-Ittihad in favor of cooperation.

The King’s Cup final this season is Sierra’s fourth final in Saudi local competitions in 6 years.

Sierra played the Crown Prince Cup final with Al-Ittihad, which he won against Al-Nasr in the 2017 season, then the King’s Cup, which he also crowned with Al-Ittihad in 2018, and this before losing the King’s Cup in 2019 and 2023 with Al-Ittihad and Al-Wehda.

Among the negative numbers also in Sierra’s record after yesterday’s loss is that he failed to beat Al-Hilal for the ninth consecutive match, accompanied by 3 teams, Al-Ittihad, Al-Ta’i and Al-Wehda.
