Former United coach: I offered Haaland to the club, but they refused to include him

Former Manchester United coach Ole Solskjaer said he was offered by Norwegian professional Haaland to manage his club before moving to Manchester City.

Solshire added, according to the British newspaper “The Sun”: “I contacted the management of Manchester United about six months before I took over my position at the club and told them Haaland, who I was coaching in the Norwegian league, but they did not listen.”

The former Manchester United coach concluded his remarks by saying, “I asked for 4 million pounds sterling for Haaland, but they did not sign him.”

And United had announced in November 2021 the departure of its coach Solskjaer from training his team for poor results, while Manchester City signed Haaland during the last summer transfers.
