Laporta: I hope Barcelona will be crowned with La Liga at Espanyol

Barcelona club president Joan Laporta said he hopes his team will be crowned the La Liga title during the match that will bring them together with his counterpart, Espanyol.

Laporta added, according to “Marca”: “I hope that Sunday will be full of joy and that we can celebrate the league that will be achieved with effort, commitment, work and talent.”

And the Barcelona president concluded his remarks by saying: “But above all thanks to your support, it would be great if we won the league there (Espanyol Stadium) this weekend. You know the reason. It is not necessary for me to explain more.”

Barcelona is preparing to face its counterpart, Espanyol, at ten in the evening, tomorrow, Sunday, in the Spanish League competitions.

Barcelona tops the La Liga table with 82 points, while Espanyol occupies the penultimate 19th place with 31 points.
