Portuguese press reports revealed the latest developments in Al Hilal’s negotiations to include Benfica player Rafa Silva, to support the team before the start of the new season.

The Portuguese newspaper, Record, stated that Rafa Silva is part of Al Hilal’s plans to secure the team’s midfield, so he seeks to settle the deal in his favour.

She indicated that the player wants to secure his future by searching for a new contract that gives him financial stability.

Rafa Silva’s contract with Portuguese club Benfica expires in June 2024, and the club made an offer to extend the contract in light of Al Hilal’s interest in obtaining his services.

Silva played 47 matches with Benfica during the past season in various competitions, scoring 14 goals and making 13 assists.
