The Norway coach reveals the reason for Haaland’s replacement against Scotland
Norway’s coach, Stole Solbakken, has revealed why he replaced striker Erling Haaland during their match against Scotland.
The Norway coach said, during the press conference after the match: “Haaland was the one who asked for the change. I kept him on the field for 10 or 12 minutes, but he was completely absent.”
The coach completed his statements by noting that Haaland played only 60 minutes in many matches with Manchester City, so he was unable to complete 90 minutes.
The goal scored by Haaland for Norway from a penalty kick in the 61st minute did not lead to victory. Where the Scottish national team scored two goals in the 87th and 89th minutes of the match that brought them together in the European Nations Qualifiers.
Norway’s balance stopped at a point in fourth place, while the Scottish national team raised its balance to point 9, leading the group table.
