“Health” paves the way for British health investment in the Kingdom

During his visit to the United Kingdom, Minister of Health Fahd Al-Jalajil discussed opportunities to enhance the role of the private sector in partnership with Britain in light of the health sector transformation program, research, development and innovation strategies, biotechnology, pharmaceutical industries, and investment.

The discussion sessions were attended by a number of investment and consulting companies, universities, and companies specialized in the medical research field, where the ministry reviewed the partnership program with the private sector, and aspects of cooperation and investment in the fields of research, development, innovation, and areas of exchange of experiences.

Major digital health companies participated in the discussion sessions; Where the Kingdom reviewed the digital transformation program and its achievements in harnessing technology, such as in the virtual health hospital, genome technology, early detection and disease prevention, localization of industries, promotion of training opportunities and investment of national talents.
