Sport 24 learned from its informed sources in Al-Nasr Club that each of Mesli Al-Muammar and Thamer Al-Yamani, who are competing for the presidency of the non-profit Al-Nasr Foundation, have submitted an appeal against the preliminary lists of each of the other party’s candidate lists for the presidency and membership of the board of directors of the non-profit Al-Nasr Foundation, at the specified time via mail. It is noteworthy that the third competitor, Muhannad Al-Daoud, was excluded from the General Committee for the Elections of Sports Clubs, in accordance with Article VI, the first paragraph of the Statute of the Association of Club Members, so that the presidency of Al-Nasr will remain between the two candidates, Mesli Al Muammar and Thamer Al-Yamani.
On Thursday, Al-Nasr announced the lists of preliminary candidates for the presidency and membership of the board of directors of his non-profit club, according to his receipt of a letter from the General Committee for Sports Club Elections.
Two lists were accepted, headed by Musli Al Muammar and the second, Thamer Al-Yamani, while the third list headed by Muhannad Al-Dawado was excluded.
The Muammar family list included 7 members in addition to the president, namely Abdullah Al-Amrani, Mansour bin Zuma, Faisal Abu Saq, Abdulaziz Al-Omran, Majid Al-Anzi, Ayman Al-Shehri and Ahmed Al-Shehri.
On the other hand, Al-Yamani competes with a list that includes 4 names other than the president, and they are Abdul Rahman Al-Khalaf, Faris Al-Balawi, Manahil Al-Muhaimid, and Yazid bin Khuzaym.
