Morocco national team crowned the Arab Futsal Cup title
Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Jalawi, Governor of Jeddah, and in the presence of His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Sports in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Mr. Badr bin Abdul Rahman Al-Qadi and First Vice-President of the Arab Football Association, Engineer Hani Abu Raida, crowned the Moroccan national team with the cup of the seventh edition of the Arab Futsal Cup 2023, which It was organized by the Arab Federation and hosted by the Saudi Federation in Jeddah.
The administrative and technical staff and the players of the Moroccan national team received the championship cup and gold medals, while the Kuwaiti national team received the silver medals.
The final match came to conclude the tournament, which was held this evening in the Ministry of Sports Hall in Jeddah Governorate, and brought together the teams of Morocco and Kuwait, in favor of the Moroccan team, which won it with a score of 7-1.
The goals of the Moroccan national team were scored by Ismail Amzal, Sufyan Shaarawy, Youssef Jawad, Khaled Bou Zaid, Sufyan Briet, Reda Al-Khayari and Suleiman Al-Omran (a reverse goal), while the goal of the Kuwait national team came through Abdul Rahman Al-Taweel, and Anas Al-Ayyan from the Moroccan national team won the best player award in the match.
Samir Tafaf of the Algerian national team was chosen as the best goalkeeper in the tournament, and Anas Al-Ayyan, the Moroccan national team player, won the best player award in the seventh edition of the Arab Futsal Cup, while Abdullatif Al-Abbasi, the Kuwaiti national team player, was crowned the tournament’s top scorer with 10 goals.
Thus, the Moroccan national team won the title of the seventh edition championship to join the list of the historical record, after the Egyptian national team was crowned with the titles of the first and second editions, then the Libyan national team was the champion of the third and fourth editions, after which the Moroccan national team was crowned in the 2021, 2022 and 2023 editions.
