The Saudi national team started its campaign in the AFC U-17 Championship with an important victory over Australia 2-0.
Nawaf Al-Bishri scored the first goal for the Saudi national team at the 56th minute of the second half.
Nawaf Al-Jadaani added the second goal to the young Al-Akhdar at the 86th minute, to secure 3 valuable points in the match that was held in the first round of the championship group stage.
The Saudi national team is in the group that includes the Tajikistan national team, along with the Chinese and Australian national teams.
