The Yemen national team begins its campaign in the AFC U-17 Cup with a victory against Malaysia

The Yemeni national team started its campaign in the current edition of the AFC U-17 Junior Championship, by defeating Malaysia 4-0 during the match that brought them together today, Thursday, in the first round competitions.

The Yemen quartet scored: Abdul Rahman Al-Khader in the 21st minute, Adel Qassem in the 31st minute, Anwar Al-Tariki in the 48th minute from a penalty kick, and Malaysian defender Ibrahim Adnan in the 88th minute by mistake in his team’s goal.

It is scheduled to meet in the second match within the same group, also on Thursday, the host Thailand with Laos, at Pathum Thani Stadium.
