The agreement prepares alternatives in anticipation of Gerrard’s refusal to train the team

The management of Al-Ettifaq club began preparing several alternatives in anticipation of the refusal of English coach Stephen Gerrard to take over the task of coaching the team, starting from the next season.

The agreement management owns the files of other coaches in the event that Gerrard does not accept the agreement offer.

Gerrard left the Kingdom yesterday, Wednesday, after spending three days in it, during which he visited Dammam and Al-Ettifaq Club, in order to get to know the region, as the two parties agreed on a deadline to respond to the offer with approval or rejection.

It is noteworthy that Reuters reported, based on an informed source, that Al-Ettifaq club made an offer to Englishman Stephen Gerrard to lead his team next season.

“The agreement made an offer to Gerrard. Gerrard welcomed the idea, but asked for a deadline to study the offer,” the source told Reuters, speaking on condition of anonymity.
