On behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Minister of Sports will attend the opening of the “Special Olympics Berlin 2023” next Saturday
On behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud – may God support him -, His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Sports and Chairman of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee, will attend, next Saturday, the opening ceremony of the Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023.
The Kingdom’s delegation participating in the Berlin 2023 tournament is the largest sports delegation in the history of Saudi participation in this tournament, as Saudi athletes participate in (15) different games, with (85) male and female athletes in games (handball, basketball, judo, bowling, Football, equestrian, badminton, volleyball, bocce, athletics, beach volleyball, cycling, weightlifting, table tennis, swimming).
On this occasion, His Highness the Minister of Sports, Chairman of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee, raised his thanks and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud – may God support him – for the generous care he gives to the sports sector, and to His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince The Prime Minister – may God protect him – for his continuous support and keenness to empower the sports sector, which contributed to the achievement of distinguished and qualitative leaps in Saudi sports.
His Highness wished success to the Saudi athletes participating in this session, by presenting distinguished levels and achieving distinguished results in this great international sports forum.
It is noteworthy that the Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023 will witness the participation of more than 7 thousand athletes, representing 170 countries from all over the world.
