Launching the Coexistence Program for Trainers in Spain
Yesterday, the 13th of June, the Coaches’ Experience Program in Spain was launched, to continue until the 23rd of the same month in the Spanish city of Malaga, under the supervision of the Technical Director of the Women’s Football Department, Monica Stapp.
The program aims to raise the level of competence of national female trainers, through the coexistence of international professional male and female trainers under an intensive practical and theoretical training schedule. 14 female trainers who hold training licenses have been selected through courses held by the Saudi Football Association.
The list includes the assistant coach of the national team for under-17 women; Najd Al-Mujeish, the trainers of the regional training centers; Hessa Al-Sudairi, Ohood Al-Amari, Amira Al-Misfir, Mahra Al-Malhi, Ghada Saud, Shahd Saleh, Ghada Malhan, Maram Al-Tuwairqi, Somaya Salam, Ohood Youssef, Maryam Bahzad, Jana Muhammad, and the trainer Nada Abdullah.
The Director of the Women’s Football Department in the Saudi Football Association, Ms. Alia Al-Rasheed, indicated that the presence of national coaches who hold advanced certificates in the world of training and their involvement in coexistence programs will contribute to raising the technical level in the Kingdom, and thus create greater opportunities to practice the coaching profession in regional training centers. For young women, national teams and clubs.
She also expressed her pride in all the coaches participating in the program, as the high percentage of female coaches is the greatest evidence of the extent of the development of women’s football in the Kingdom, and the great interest it receives from the President and members of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Football Association.
