Press reports revealed that Barcelona had dismissed the contract with Gabonese international Aubameyang.
Barcelona withdrew from the race to include Aubameyang, according to the Spanish newspaper “Mundo Deportivo”, given that his salary was not commensurate with the club’s plan in the next stage.
The Italian journalist specializing in the transfer market, Fabrizio Romano, previously revealed the struggle of Al-Ahly and Al-Shabab over the inclusion of the Gabonese striker and the English star of Chelsea, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang; to include it next summer.
Romano wrote on Twitter: “Al-Ahly and Al-Shabab contacted Emeric Aubameyang to discuss the possibility of his transfer to the Saudi League.”
And he continued, “The Gabonese striker had previously rejected an offer from Los Angeles, USA, last February, because Emeric’s priority was to continue in European stadiums.”
“Aubameyang will 100% leave Chelsea this summer, there is no doubt about that,” he concluded.
The Gabonese striker previously played for Dortmund, Barcelona and Arsenal, before settling in Chelsea.
