A farewell message?.. Musimani raises controversy about his future with Al-Ahly

Al-Ahly coach, South African coach Pitso Mosimane, raised controversy about his future with the team.

Musimani wrote on his Twitter account: “The mission has been completed, the project has been delivered … the sleeping giant woke up in 8 months … in a new country, a new continent, and a different league.”

He added, “In Arabic, they say (salvation), meaning (it’s over).. Thank you, Jeddah, for entrusting me with this task. Greetings.”

This tweet sparked controversy among Al-Ahly fans, a sector of which considered it as a farewell message to the fans, especially since the coach’s contract with the team ends at the end of the current season.

Musimani led Al-Ahly club to return to the Saudi Roshen League, after he topped the Yellow League standings with 65 points, 3 rounds before the end of the competition.

Mission accomplished, project delivered, Sleeping Giant awakens within 8 months. In a new country, a new continent, a different league! In Arabic they say pure! Meaning it is done and dirt!
