Today, the quarter-finals of the Arab Futsal Championship 2023 were held, which are held in the Ministry of Sports Hall in Jeddah Governorate in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where the teams of Libya, Morocco, Kuwait and Algeria qualified for the Golden Square.
Today, Tuesday, 4 matches were played, as the Libyan national team defeated Lebanon 5-2, Morocco 5-2 against Saudi Arabia, 6-2 Kuwait 6-2 against Egypt, and Algeria 2-0 against Iraq 2-0.
In the first match, the goals of the Libyan national team were scored by Muhammad Saeed (two goals), Ziad Aziz, Izz al-Din al-Marimi and Ahmed al-Agnaf, while the double for the Lebanese national team came through Issa Mahrez Majd Hamoush, while the Libyan national team player Suhaib al-Ghoul won the award for best player in the match.
In the second match, the goals of the Moroccan national team were scored by Khaled Bou Zaid, Sofiane Shaarawy, Anas Al-Ayyan, Reda Al-Khayari and Idris Rais, while the Saudi national team’s double came through Nawaf Arwan, while he won the award for best player in the match, the Moroccan national team player, Anas Al-Ayyan.
In the third match, the goals of the Kuwaiti national team were scored by Omar Al-Shatti, Abdul Rahman Al-Taweel, Badr Al-Mansour (two goals), Suleiman Al-Omran and Abdul-Latif Al-Abbasi, while the goals of the Egyptian national team came through Mustafa Khalaf, while Abdul Rahman Al-Taweel from the Kuwaiti national team won the best player award.
In the fourth match, the two goals of the Algerian national team were scored by Amin Ben Sharif, while the best player in the match was awarded to the Algerian national team goalkeeper, Samir Tafaf.
With these results, Libya’s national team will meet Morocco’s national team, and Kuwait’s national team will meet Algeria’s national team, tomorrow evening, Wednesday, in the semi-finals.
