Today, Tuesday, the U-23 national team returned to its training after the rest period that coach Saad Al-Shehri granted to the players yesterday, Monday, following their match against Costa Rica on Sunday in the Maurice Revillo International Championship (Toulon), which comes within the framework of the preparation program for the qualifying qualifiers. For the AFC U-23 Cup 2024.

The “Al-Akhdar” players conducted their training session this evening, under the supervision of coach Saad Al-Shehri and the assistant technical staff, during which they applied a physical exercise, followed by work on the tactical aspects.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, the national team will continue its training in preparation for the match against the Ivory Coast, the day after tomorrow, Thursday, in the match to determine the fifth and sixth places in the Toulon Championship.

It is worth noting that the participation of the U-23 national team in the Toulon Championship comes as part of the preparation program for the Asian qualifiers, which will be launched in early September, and qualifies for the Asian Cup in Qatar 2024, which in turn qualifies to participate in the Olympic Games (Paris 2024).
