The Supreme Organizing Committee for the Saudi Games announced the registration of more than 6,800 male and female athletes, by the end of the registration period yesterday evening, in the performance tests that qualify for the second edition of the Saudi Games, which will start on the 26th of next November until the tenth of December 2023.
The performance trials will continue until the thirtieth of next September in ten cities from various regions of the Kingdom in 21 sports, namely: darts, athletics, beach volleyball, balot, billiards, bicycles, electronic games, golf, indoor rowing, sailing, paddle boarding, wrestling, weightlifting, squash, table tennis, triathlon, taekwondo, Paralympic weightlifting, and sports. Paralympic athletics, Muay Thai, cars and motorbikes.
It is noteworthy that the first edition of the Saudi Games, which was held from October 27 to November 7, 2022, met with great interaction with the participation of more than 6,000 athletes and 2,000 technical and administrative supervisors, representing more than 200 clubs from across the Kingdom, competing for gold platforms across 45 sports. Between individual and collective, it included 5 Paralympic sports, and approximately 31 sports facilities equipped to host competitions.
