South African press reports revealed that the Al-Ahly administration is considering dispensing with the coach of the team, Pitso Mosimane, and contracting with a European coach during the coming period.

The South African “Idiski Times” website stated that the Al-Ahly administration has doubts about the level of the team in the recent period.

He pointed out that Al-Ahly had contacted several coaches recently, including Massimiliano Allegri, coach of the Italian team, Juventus.
