Sport 24 reveals .. Gerrard is in Dammam for the agreement

An informed source disclosed toSport 24And that the English coach, Stephen Gerrard, is currently in Dammam, after his name was associated with training the Al-Ettifaq team, during the new sports season.

The source said that Gerrard is in Dammam in order to meet club officials, and to see the area, after the offer made by the agreement, to contract with the former Aston Villa coach.

And press reports had indicated, earlier, that the agreement had submitted an offer to Gerrard, and the coach welcomed the idea, but asked for a deadline to study the offer.

Gerrard, 43, the former historic captain of Liverpool, left Aston Villa’s training last October after a series of modest results. He led the Rangers to achieve the Scottish Premier League in the 2020-2021 season, after finishing the season without any defeat.

It is noteworthy that Al-Ettifaq finished the Saudi League last season (2022-2023) in seventh place, with 37 points, collected from 10 wins and a draw in 7 matches, while losing in 13 confrontations.
