Al-Faisal congratulates Al-Ahly of Egypt for the CAF Champions League title

The Minister of Sports, President of the Arab Football Association, Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, congratulated the Egyptian Al-Ahly Club after winning the CAF Champions League title.

Al-Faisal wrote on Twitter: “I congratulate the Egyptian club Al-Ahly for winning the African Champions League … and all the best wishes to his Moroccan brother, Wydad, for success in the upcoming tournaments.”

Al-Ahly won the title thanks to its 3-2 superiority in the aggregate score, after its 2-1 victory in Cairo last week, and then a 1-1 draw for each team in the second leg.

Al-Ahly is preparing to participate in the 2023 FIFA Club World Cup, which will be hosted by the Kingdom, as the CAF Champions League champion.
