Officially.. Turkish Kokcho to Benfica

Benfica has announced the signing of Turkish international midfielder Orkun Kokçu, in a club-record 25 million euro deal, from Feyenoord.

According to the Portuguese club, the 22-year-old player signed a five-year contract until 2028.

Kokcho scored 8 goals in 32 league matches last season, contributing to Feyenoord’s crowning of the Dutch league champions.

The previous record deal for Benfica was in the name of Uruguayan striker Darwin Nunez, after he signed him for 24 million euros from Spanish Almeria in 2020, before moving in the summer of 2022 to Liverpool, England.
