Neptune, the joint venture between Saudi Cruise and Aman Resorts Group, last week signed a contract to build its first superyacht with Italian shipbuilder Mariotti.
The “Saudi Cruise” company said that the yacht was designed in partnership with the yacht engineering and design company “Synote”, the world’s leading yacht design and manufacturer, while ensuring that the interior design reflects the eastern heritage.
She added that this luxury yacht comes with unique features, including that it will be 183 meters long, weigh about 23 thousand tons, and include 50 luxurious suites, each with a private balcony, and a number of restaurants and common recreational areas.
And “Saudi Cruise” indicated that it is the first yacht built in the Mariotti shipyard in Italy that works with a dual-fuel system, and it is expected that the construction and equipment of the yacht will be completed to enter the operational stage during the year 2026.
According to the company, with this project, “Saudi Cruise” and “Aman Resorts Group” will join the world of luxury floating resorts with distinctive tourist cruises, which goes along with the goals and strategic plans of “Saudi Cruise” to become a leading player in the arena of global tourism trips. And consolidating the Kingdom’s position as an incoming tourist destination.
