The American technology and software giant “Microsoft” announced that it has started launching a new tool called “Fone Link” for the “iOS” operating system, which allows connecting iPhones running this system with personal computers running the “Windows 11” operating system. .

The company said that all users of the Windows 11 operating system will be able to use the new feature by the middle of this month.

Microsoft explained that the iOS version of the PhoneLink feature provides “basic support for calls, messages, and access to contact lists on the iPhone via PC.”

According to the company, once the iPhone is connected to a computer running Windows 11, the user begins to receive notifications of the arrival of a call or message to the phone, where he can answer or reject it via the computer.

Windows 11 users can find out if the new feature is available or not by searching for the “Phone Link” icon in the task list, and if it is activated, Microsoft will allow the user to operate it through several steps.

It is noteworthy that Microsoft provided the PhoneLink feature for the first time in 2022 as an update to the Your Phone application from Microsoft, which was initially available for smartphones running the Android operating system in late 2018.
