Green U23 faces Costa Rica in the Toulon International Championship

Tomorrow, Sunday, the U-23 national team will play its match in the third round of the Maurice Revillo International Championship (Toulon Tournament), which will be held until the eighteenth of this month, within the framework of the preparation program for the qualifiers for the AFC U-23 Cup 2024.

Al-Akhdar will meet the Costa Rica national team at exactly two o’clock in the evening, French time (three o’clock in the Kingdom time), at the Latre de Tenege stadium in the city of Obagne in France.

On the field, Al-Akhdar players conducted their training session this evening, Saturday, under the supervision of technical director Saad Al-Shehri and the assistant technical staff, during which they applied a physical exercise, followed by work on the tactical aspects.

It is worth noting that the participation of the national under-23 team in the Toulon Championship comes as part of the preparation program for the Asian qualifiers, which will be launched in early September, and qualifies for the Asian Cup in Qatar 2024, which in turn qualifies to participate in the Olympic Games (Paris 2024).
