“Meta” intends to launch a new application to compete with Twitter

Facebook’s owner, Meta, intends to launch a new application, which is a stand-alone decentralized social network, to compete with the “Twitter” application.

A Meta spokesperson confirmed, during an interview with the BBC, that the new platform is being developed, through which the latest textual content can be shared, and content makers and public figures can share their latest interests.

It is expected that the new platform will be put to work at the end of this June, under the initial name of “B-92”, and this name will change if the new platform is able to attract even 25% of Instagram users to the application.
