The Camel Union announces the schedule for the Crown Prince Festival

The Saudi Camel Federation announced the details of the schedule for the 2023 Crown Prince Camel Festival, which will be held in Taif, starting next August 1, for a period of 38 days, with 589 rounds.

The preliminary race for the festival, which will witness 350 races, will be held during the period from 1 to 12 August for the categories of “Mafarid, Haqaiq, Luqaya, Jaza’a, Thanaya, Hail and Zamoul”.

The final race will start on the 28th of August and will last for 11 days, with a marathon race of 5 runs and 234 runs in the final race.

The previous editions of the festival witnessed a turnout by camel enthusiasts around the world, as it aims to consolidate and promote camel heritage in Saudi culture.
