Waj Club President for “Sport 24”: We aim to be in the ranks of the big clubs

The Ministry of Sports issued a decision assigning Hanan Al-Qurashi as president of Waj Sports Club in Taif, which is considered the first female president of a sports club in the Kingdom. This comes after the dissolution of the club’s board of directors.

She added that she is looking forward, along with His Highness the Governor of Taif, the Ministry of Sports and the people of Taif Governorate, to a bright future for the “Waj” sports club, extending her thanks and appreciation to the Ministry of Sports.

It is noteworthy that a decision was issued yesterday appointing Hanan Al-Qurashi as president of Waj Sports Club in Taif, and Tabtar Al-Qurashi is the second woman to hold a sports position, after Maram Al-Batiri, president of the Shula Al-Sharqiya Club.
