The Al-Ittihad professional, the French star, Karim Benzema, said that he chose to join Al-Ittihad Club because it is one of the best clubs in Saudi Arabia, and that he has a passionate fan base, and he owns many titles.

Benzema continued, during an interview published by Al-Ittihad Club accounts on the communication sites, today, Thursday: “A wonderful feeling, happy to join this legendary club, for sure it is a new challenge for me, and a new life and I am excited to start training. I chose Al-Ittihad because it is one of the best clubs in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.” The club has a passionate fan base and has many titles.”

The French player responded to the reason for choosing to come to the Kingdom by saying: “Because I am a Muslim and it is a Muslim country, I have always wanted to live in it.” Then he added: “I played for Madrid and won titles and I am proud that I was able to play in Madrid and end my career there in that way, what I wish for my new team, which is what I will be able to add my football experience, and most importantly the possibility of achieving titles, I love winning titles, it is a new chapter for me and I want to contribute to the progress of the club to a higher position than it holds now despite being at the top.

And he added: “I would really like to contribute to the advancement of the club, as it is a club that has a lot of passion and belongs to the top. The stadium is exceptional, and as I said, I will repeat there is a lot of passion. The fans are the most important thing.
