Contra: Established a business plan in the federation that Nuno Santo inherited

The former coach of the Al-Ittihad team, Romanian Cosmin Contra, confirmed that it was one of the most important reasons for the team’s achievements during the past season by winning the Super Cup, and then the Roshen League.

“We did a great job in the federation, establishing a business plan that Nuno Santo inherited,” Contra wrote on his Twitter account.

He added, “In fact, a number of Al-Ittihad players called me to say: This victory is also yours.”

Contra took over the training of Al-Ittihad from August 2021 to July 2022, and led it to achieving second place in the Saudi Professional League this season.
