Benzema bids farewell to Real Madrid fans with an impressive message

Al-Ittihad player, French Karim Benzema, bid farewell to the fans of his former club, Real Madrid, with an impressive message, in which he thanked them for the support he had received throughout his years at the Spanish club.

Al-Ittihad Club, the champion of the Saudi Professional Football League, announced on Tuesday evening the contract with Frenchman Karim Benzema from Real Madrid until 2026.

“It’s been a very long road,” Benzema said before traveling to Jeddah and during an interview with Real Madrid media. “Real Madrid gave me all the love I could have, because I left my family at the age of 21 and found another family here.”

He added, “Thank you to the president, who was always by my side, and thanks to the fans, too, who gave me this family touch.”

And he continued, “In the end, when I look back, I look at all the trophies and all the magical nights at the Bernabéu, I will never forget them.”
