The new star of Al-Ittihad club, French striker Karim Benzema, boarded a private plane to the city of Jeddah to start his career with the Saudi Professional League champion.

Al-Ittihad wrote on its Twitter account: “Our new star, Karim Benzema, is on his way to Jeddah. Are you ready, champions of the World Exceptional League?”

And private sources revealed that Al-Jawhara Stadium will witness the presentation ceremony of French star Karim Benzema as a player for Al-Ittihad, tomorrow, Thursday.

The sources explained toSport24The Golden Ball-winning player will arrive today, Wednesday, and will be presented in a lavish and grand ceremony at Al-Jawhara Stadium in Jeddah on Thursday, and entry will be free.

Al-Ittihad Club, the champion of the Saudi Professional Football League, announced on Tuesday evening the contract with Frenchman Karim Benzema from Real Madrid until 2026.

Benzema said, in statements reported by Al-Ittihad Club: “I am excited to try a new league in a different country, and I know Al-Ittihad club that has an amazing history and very enthusiastic fans, and its ambitions go beyond the local league that won the continental championships.”

He concluded his remarks by saying: “I am very proud of my football career in Spain, France and Europe in general, and I feel now that the time has come for a challenge and a new project.”
