Emir of Al-Qassim praises the sporting achievements of the region’s clubs

His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Qassim region, received today in the Principality’s Diwan the Director of the Ministry of Sports branch in the region, Hadlaq Al-Hadlaq, in the presence of the Emirate’s Undersecretary, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Wazzan.

This came on the occasion of achieving the first football team of Al-Najma club the shield of the second division league, and the ascent to the first division league for professionals, and the achievement of the Qassim Region Sports Academy first place and the championship title in the International Football Forum that was held in the Arab Republic of Egypt 2023 AD, as well as the achievement of Al-Hilalia Club of the Qassim Region Football Championship. Football for the fourth degree, and citizen Nayef Al-Baqawi won third place in the ADNOC World Marathon race in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Prince Faisal congratulated the region’s clubs on these sporting achievements, stressing the unlimited support and attention given to the sports sector by the wise leadership – may God support them – indicating that these sporting achievements are a motive to continue the path of sporting success, and to obtain advanced positions and achievements attributed to the region.
