The ministry stated that the tips include examining the feet with a foot and ankle specialist before Hajj, washing and examining the feet daily, avoiding walking barefoot, and applying powder between the toes to keep the skin dry.

Tips include avoiding removing layers of thick, hardened skin to avoid cutting the skin, avoiding creams between the toes to reduce moisture, and cutting nails straight across.
