Al-Ittihad Club announced earlier this evening, Tuesday, that its board of directors had completed the procedures for contracting with French international player Karim Benzema.

The former Real Madrid player was crowned the last edition of the Golden Ball award as the best player in the world in 2022.

The 35-year-old is not the first player to win the Golden Ball award and join the Saudi League competitions. Where he was preceded by two.
