The Olympic Green is back in training, in preparation for the Venezuela match
Today, Tuesday, the U-23 national team returned to training after its match against France on Monday, as part of the opening competitions of the Maurice Revelo International Championship (Toulon), which comes within the framework of the preparation program for the qualifiers for the AFC U-23 Cup 2024.
The “Al-Akhdar” players conducted their training session this evening, under the supervision of coach Saad Al-Shehri and the assistant technical staff, during which they were divided into two groups. The first group, which included the players who mainly participated in yesterday’s match, performed reflexive exercises, while the other group conducted tactical exercises.
Tomorrow, Wednesday, the national team will continue its training in preparation for the second round of the Toulon Championship, in which it will meet Venezuela, the day after tomorrow, Thursday.
It is worth noting that the participation of the national under-23 team in the Toulon Championship comes as part of the preparation program for the Asian qualifiers, which will start in early September, and qualifies for the Asian Cup in Qatar 2024, which in turn qualifies to participate in the Olympic Games (Paris 2024).
