Musk said, in a tweet on his Twitter account, that accounts that have been completely inactive for years will be removed, warning users of the platform that they will notice that the number of their followers will decrease due to this cancellation.

This comes as part of a series of decisions taken by Musk since his acquisition of the platform for $44 billion at the end of last October, while an opinion poll he launched the day before yesterday (Sunday) showed that 46% of the 1.5 million respondents confirmed that the platform had changed for the better. , while 38% saw that the platform turned for the worse.

For its part, the research company “Insider Intelligence” indicated that Twitter’s revenues will decrease by 28% this year because “advertisers do not trust Musk, which is the opposite of what the latter confirmed, who announced that his company had noticed the return of advertisers to the platform.”
