Al-Faisal: There will be no increase in ticket prices for club matches

Sports Minister Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal confirmed that there will be no increase in ticket prices for club matches.

Al-Faisal said at the press conference for the allocation of clubs: “It is in the interest of companies to have tickets in different categories, and although they are one of the most important sources of income for clubs, there will be no increases in them during the coming period.”

He added, “Supporting members can participate in the remaining 25% as a non-profit organization, and a plan to develop infrastructure in the sports sector will be announced soon.”

And he continued: “The public is the basis for the success of clubs in the world, and in the next steps steps will be announced to develop the infrastructure and services that will be provided to affiliate members, and the goal is to compete with the highest leagues in the world, and we will not reach that until after comprehensive development in all aspects.”

And the Minister of Sports, Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, announced that the Public Investment Fund had acquired 4 clubs from the Roshan League, and transferred them to companies owned by the fund.

In his speech during the clubs privatization conference, the Minister of Sports stated that the clubs that the Public Investment Fund will acquire by 75% are Al-Hilal, Al-Nasr, Al-Ittihad and Al-Ahly.
