Sources for “Sport 24”: Al-Nasr is negotiating with Manuel Pellegrini
Informed sources revealed that the management of Al-Nasr Club, headed by Mesli Al Muammar, entered into negotiations with the former Real Madrid coach, Manuel Pellegrini, to take over the task of training the team in the next season.
The sources confirmed toSport 24The most important reason for the Al-Assi club’s desire to sign the Chilean coach Pellegrini is that he has a great coaching record, as he coached Real Madrid, Manchester City and West Ham in the English Premier League, and he also coached the Chilean national team.
In the same context, the Al-Nasr administration has developed several alternative options in the event that Pellegrini rejects the offer, led by Argentine coach Marcelo Gallardo, in addition to several other names.
The sources also indicated that the management of the capital club seeks to settle the coach’s file early in preparation for the next season to compensate the fans of its club for their exit without any championship during the last season.
Al-Nasr team concluded its campaign in the Roshen League this season in the runner-up position with 67 points, behind Al-Ittihad, who won the title, with 72 points.
