“Sports Media”: revoking the membership of a journalist who insulted one of the regions

Today (Sunday), the Saudi Federation for Sports Media announced the suspension and revocation of the membership of a member who committed explicit abuse, regional discrimination, and disparagement from one of the regions of the Kingdom.

The federation stated that it is closely following what is being presented recently by some members of the federation in the media, including what is published on social media.

He added that during the last period, many media abuses were monitored that contradict the goals for which the federation was established, and legal measures were taken against violators according to the regulations and regulations, including the suspension and revocation of membership of a member who committed explicit abuse, regional discrimination, and derogation from one of the regions of the Kingdom.

He stressed that he works in cooperation and coordination with the relevant official authorities to take legal measures against every violator whose membership in the federation is registered.
