Officially.. Milan ends the controversy over Liao’s fate

AC Milan ended the controversy over the fate of the team’s young star, Portuguese striker Rafael Leao.

AC Milan announced the renewal of the contract of Rafael Leao, the star of the team, until the summer of 2028.

Last summer, Liao’s name was linked to a move to Chelsea, for more than 100 million euros.

The 23-year-old Portuguese joined Milan from French Lille in the summer of 2019 for 29.5 million euros.

Since then, he has played 162 matches, during which the winger scored 41 goals and assisted 29, and won the Italian League title.
