The European Football Association (UEFA) responded categorically to the talks about moving the final stadium of the current version of the Champions League 2023 from the Turkish city of Istanbul.
UEFA said, through an official statement issued today, Friday: “The final match will be held in Istanbul, as scheduled, on the tenth of June.”
The match is scheduled to bring together the winner of the Manchester City and Real Madrid match, and the winner of the Milan and Inter Milan match.
The city of Istanbul obtained the rights to host the final after losing it in 2020 during the Corona Virus Covid-19 epidemic crisis.
