At a ceremony honoring him.. Benzema: Why am I talking about my future if I’m in Madrid?

Real Madrid player, Frenchman Karim Benzema, won this evening, Thursday, the Spanish newspaper Marca’s award to honor him for his football career.

Benzema said during his tribute ceremony with Marca newspaper: “Why am I talking about the future if I am in Madrid? What is talking is the Internet, and reality is not the Internet.”

In response to a question, will you stay in Madrid? The Real Madrid player said: “Now I have a match on Sunday and then we’ll see.”

He continued: “I am very proud of my work, I enjoy every moment at Real Madrid. Going to Valdebebas for training is not a job. In my head I enjoy Madrid, yesterday, today and tomorrow in training.”

And he continued: “When I say people who know football, I mean professional footballers. Everyone can play, but we play at the professional level.”

He concluded his remarks: “I always needed my teammates. This award and other awards belong to everyone.”
