The Minister of Sports, Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, crowned the Al-Ittihad team with the title of Doi Roshen Roshen for professionals this season.

Al-Ittihad captain, Ahmed Hegazy, received the competition cup in the presence of the club’s president, Anmar Al-Haili, and a large audience at Al-Jawhara Stadium.

On the night of the coronation of the Roshen League title, Al-Ittihad defeated its counterpart Al-Tai with two goals without a response in the match that brought them together today at Al-Jawhara Stadium in the thirtieth and final round of the competition league.

The two goals were scored by Moroccan professional Abdel Razzaq Hamdallah, a “penalty kick”, and Helder Costa in the 72nd and 90th + 6 minutes of the match.

first half:

The match began with a careful play by the two teams, and it was dominated by short passes in the middle of the field, without any dangerous attempts on the goal.

A calm atmosphere prevailed between the players of the two teams in the first quarter of an hour, after which Al-Ittihad tried to take the initiative and focus on the offensive side, while Al-Taie players concentrated in the defensive areas.

In the 25th minute, Hamdallah received a ball inside the Al-Taie penalty area, and tried to form a danger, but he was unable to control the ball and it went out for a goal kick.

And in the 31st minute, Ahmed Sharahili almost scored in the usual way, after Coronado executed a corner kick, which was received by Al-Ittihad defender with a header, but it went far from the goal.

In the 36th minute, Hamdallah missed the opportunity for a goal after a dangerous cross from Romarinho reached him, but he hit it next to the post.

And Coronado succeeded in providing many wonderful assists, but no one took advantage of them, and in the 40th minute, Kamara failed to take advantage of a wonderful cross sent by Coronado.

In the 41st minute, Bruno Henrique sent a dangerous cross, but it passed in front of Romarinho and went out for a goal kick in favor of Al-Taie.

And in the 42nd minute, Grohe saved his own goal after a wonderful cross from Collins Fay, which made Mbenza alone, but Grohe made a wonderful save.

Second half:

With the start of the second half of the match, Nuno Santo tried to rest a number of key elements, especially since abstraction is considered a foregone conclusion.

In a rare event this season, goalkeeper Marcelo Grohe came out and replaced him with Abdullah Al-Jadaani, while Haroun Kamara came out and Marwan Al-Sahafi replaced him.

In the 73rd minute, Hamdallah succeeded in scoring Al-Ittihad’s first goal from a penalty kick, which was the same one he got after being fouled in the Al-Tai penalty area.

Al-Taei tried to make many changes in the hope of making a change in the result, but the Al-Ittihad team imposed control over the course of things, and things almost strengthened the result in more than one attack.

In the 90 + 6 minute, Helder Costa managed to score the second goal for Al-Ittihad after a cross from Marawan Al-Sahafi, so that Costa easily put it in the goal.

Formation of the two teams:

Al-Ittihad started the match with a formation consisting of: Marcelo Grohe, Omar Hawsawi, Ahmed Sharahili, Ahmed Bamasoud, Madallah Al-Olayan, Bruno Henrique, Igor Coronado, Harun Camara, Helder Costa, Romarenho, Hamdallah.
